About Us

Welcome to My Recipe World!

Hi, I’m Nancy Hollar – and I’m so glad you’re here.

I started My Recipe World because I kept running into the same problem: I wanted to cook good food for my family, but most recipes online were either too complicated or used ingredients I’d never heard of. So I thought, why not create a space where everything is simple, approachable, and actually works?

Every recipe you’ll find here has been tested in my own kitchen. If something doesn’t turn out right, I go back and fix it before I ever hit publish. I don’t believe in wasting your time or your groceries.

How It All Started

Cooking has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my mom throw together meals with whatever was in the fridge, and somehow it always tasted amazing. That stuck with me. I learned early on that great food doesn’t have to be fancy — it just has to be made with care.

I launched this site because I wanted to share that same feeling with others. The feeling of putting a homemade meal on the table and watching everyone go back for seconds.

What You’ll Find Here

I focus on recipes that real people actually want to make on a Tuesday night — not just on special occasions. You’ll find everything from quick weeknight dinners and comforting soups to easy desserts and snacks the kids will love. I try to keep the ingredient lists short and the instructions clear, because nobody wants to read a novel before they can start cooking.

What I Believe

I believe dinner doesn’t have to be stressful. I believe a good recipe should work the first time you try it. And I believe that sitting down to eat something you made yourself — even if it’s simple — is one of the best feelings there is.

Want to Work Together?
